New CMTO Station Workshops

Need some tips on attracting sponsorship to your station? Could your staff/volunteers benefit from fundraising training and discussing alternate streams of income? Will your station be covering the 2013 Federal Election, lead-up campaigns or local state elections?

The CMTO's next round of Pathways training (starting July 2012) will include workshops in:

• Fundraising and Sponsorship
• Media Law/OHS (includes Election Broadcasting & Campaign Coverage)
• Advanced Presentation
• Media Law and OHS
• Governance
• Outside Broadcasting

The CMTO Training Expressions of Interest form is available here. Stations who have not had training before - along with those in remote and regional areas - will be given priority in the competitive funding selection process. Applicants are asked to submit expressions of interest before March 13.
